Global Fish ID Logs

Perfect for on the spot fish identification after dives, and recording your special fish encounters, our fish id log pages are a high quality stunning addition to your dive log binder. This is our Global collection which contains all our species.

This is our full set of common marine life you may see as you go diving and snorkelling around the world.

It covers most oceans and seas. If you have chosen more than two of our regional sets, then this global collection might be better as it eliminates species duplication.

The set includes details for over 600 different species, including fish, sharks and rays, marine mammals, reptiles, crustaceans, and marine invertibrates.

As well as fish id information at your fingertips, each species listing has an integrated sightings and notes section right alongside. Use this for any special notes or direct reference back to that dive where you had that special fish encounter.

We print these on a very high quality glossy card to really make the images pop and the details pin sharp.

The set contains 88 pages (44 sheets) for the 3-ring binder and DiveLogs compact binder size. For the personal organiser size, this increases to 134 pages (67 sheets) to ensure the information is present at a useful size. This is a lot of information that will be a sizeable addition to your dive log binder, The thickness in the 3-ring and DiveLogs 6-ring formats is 6mm so it still works well within the space available, but the Personal organiser version is 9mm so please double check your space available or instead opt for our regional subsets that are 2-3mm in thickness.

Please visit this page: Info on page sizes for more details on page dimensions etc.

It has never been easier to take fish identification information with you when you are travelling or need a spontaneous quick reference.

Also included is our specially developed visual identification index. Using just a few simple cues such as species type (fish, reptile, shark etc.), the size, and the tail type, you can quickly narrow down the list of species it could be. Adding in any special markings such as stripes, bands of colour or spots etc, can narrow it down further. You can see this in one of the product images above.

Each species listing is packed full of usefull information such as distribution maps, water columns (showing typical depths), size gauges, and info icons.

The info icons are arranged in four types. Locations, Alliances, Activities, and Characters.

Locations show you where you should expect to find the species, alliances indicate whether they are solitary or they form pairs or groups or schools, activities highlights what they typically get up to, and characters shows you any special behaviours you should look out for.
